Welcome to the Independent School Health Association
The Independent School Health Association (ISHA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting good health and to enhancing the quality of life for students, faculty, and staff on independent school campuses. Good health is defined as the state of well-being arising out of the harmonious integration of an individual's physical, psychological, intellectual, social, and spiritual strengths. ISHA fulfills its mission through biannual conferences, specialized workshops, and its newsletter. The organization is led by a volunteer council of individuals from member schools and represents physicians, nurses, counselors, athletic trainers, health educators, and school administrators.
